Carnival of Venice 2011, go!


Venice Carnival 2011 has begun Saturday 26 beautifully bright sunshine bathed a beautiful light. The first event was the Carnival Parade historical (Corteo Storico), who left San Pietro di Castello and joined St. Mark's Square through the Via Garibaldi and continued along the basin of San Marco . This procession accompanied the 12 Marie throughout the path they made in part on a wood Brancart worn by young gondoliers of Venice, while the sound of trumpets, drums and tambourines. A colorful show which ended on St. Mark's Square where Mary were presented to a large crowd and delighted. Long live the Carnival of Venice!
